I am a Finance and Economics student at the University of Melbourne, currently interning at Samuel Aset Manajemen as an Investment Analyst, where I focus on financial modelling, valuation, and equity research across sectors such as plantation, oil & gas, and mining. Through this experience, I have developed a strong foundation in both top-down macro analysis and bottom-up company fundamentals, and I intend to continue building my career in the asset management and broader buy-side investment space.
I view the finance world through a long-term, fundamentally anchored lens. I consider myself a structural bull: markets may deviate in the short run, but over time valuations gravitate back to underlying fundamentals. In this context, I do not interpret valuation multiples such as P/E purely as measures of expensiveness or cheapness; rather, they reflect market sentiment about a company's future trajectory and management's strategic direction.
